While there are many ways of making chicken curry depending on the region, Indian chicken curry is typically made by heating whole spices in oil, then adding onions, tomatoes, garlic, ginger, chili peppers, and powdered spices to make a sauce. Pieces of chicken are then stewed in the sauce until cooked through, and then this spicy curry is served with rice or flatbread.
